Dinner raises £1107 for cancer charity

A charity prize draw held at the Caravan Wriers’ Guild dinner on 23rd February raised £1107 for the Christie cancer charity based in Manchester. The charity was chosen by Nigel Rosser a year ago when he became Guild Chairman. Last year the two Guild dinners raised £1,452.78 for the charity. Since then and without warning, Nigel has become a patient of the Christie hospital making this latest charity draw very poignant.
The dinner itself was another sell out with all 94 seats being taken some weeks beforehand.
