The Caravan Writers’ Guild were delighted to host their annual Guild dinner on Wednesday 16th October 2019, at Stonebridge Golf Club.
Chris Apperley, Guild Chairman, hosted his second dinner and welcomed members and friend sponsors from the industry.
The dinner was arranged by Guild Treasurer Alison Owen, who once again did a thoroughly fantastic job of organising the event.
The highlight of the night was the Chairman’s prize raffle, this raised £936.50 for Kidscan, a children’s cancer charity. The charity was first chosen by Terry Owen, when he became Chairman in 2014, and continued by Andrew Ditton, when he took over in 2016. Since then the Guild has raised donations amounting to £14,582. The Guild would like to thank those who donated some wonderful raffle prizes.
The evening was a great success and planning for next year is already underway.
