Great company, a great site, and good weather combined to make a memorable event. Well, it was a bit wet on the Monday, but a visit to Chester provided ample opportunity to escape the damp. That evening we hosted local motorhome dealer Yourstyle Leisure, who made a generous contribution to our evening BBQ and drinks. They also brought along a new Giottiline motorhome for our perusal and gave an interesting talk on what it’s like to be a motorhome dealer.

The following day saw a visit to Stockport and Moving Intelligence. That’s the new name for Guild founder sponsor, Phantom, the tracking and security specialist.  Thanks to them for a fascinating presentation and superb lunch.

The rest of the time we visited local attractions and caught up on all the news. In the process we relaxed, enjoyed pizzas from the campsite’s pizza oven, a fish and chip supper, bacon & sausage bap breakfast, good beer and wine and so on.

It was really enjoyable to get together after the long break imposed by Covid. It seems that things are finally returning to normal at last. Many thanks to site owners Jackie and James Spencer, and their hardworking wardens, for making us so welcome.
